Since the hubby and I aren't spending money this September, we've been missing one of our favorite restaurants which is a Crêperie, so we decided to make our own crêpes! We're mid-way through our No-Spend month and so far the only "extra" that we've spent on was a birthday lunch at work. I spent $6 on the daily special, so I don't think that's too bad compared my usual trips out to eat with coworkers :)
We have been making all of our meals at home instead of eating out. It involved more planning and a bit more grocery shopping, but we've enjoyed it.
Now that the weather is slightly (only slightly) below 100 degrees here in Texas, my hubby and I decided to go camping again. We didn't go camping the last two months due to the extreme heat, so we've been looking forward to this trip since we booked it last month.
Home Sweet Home! We bought this tent a few months ago and I just adore it! It's the Montana 8 from Coleman. The C shaped door was great for keeping bugs out and our dogs in. We kept the pups out with us for the most part, but since they weren't allowed in the bathrooms or the beach part of the lake, it was helpful to have a sure proof way of keeping them in the tent.

I was drinking wine while pinning one night when I found this post about Moscato Cupcakes. This amazing recipe came from Brooke Bakes! and I only made minor changes to it. This is my wine:

My husband and I have decided to go a whole month without spending money on the "extras." We still want things like power, a place to live and food to eat, etc., so we decided to continue paying out bills, but the extra stuff like eating out, going to the movies and sweets runs have got to go.
My hubby and I both have developed some bad spending habits and those habits are keeping us from achieving our goals, and getting what we want out of life. Our solution was to spend a whole month without spending money on the "extras."
